First things first, we do not use the guildlaunch application. When registering to the site, on the step that it asks you to apply to the guild, you choose of the option of "No, I only need to post in public forums or I'm not ready to apply to this guild." We have our own recruitment template set up on the site where you can just copy/paste it into a new thread.
When applying to our guild, attendance is a major factor. We raid Monday through Thursday, 11:45pm - 3am. If you miss random days without posting that you cannot make that raid - you'll be kicked. We don't need people who are unreliable. If you show up late, you also need to post to cover your ass and if you're leaving early, tell the raid leader ahead of time. We want players who learn quickly, do not make the same mistake twice, multitask well, and have excellent visual awareness.
Gear is always a plus in our books, but you don't have to be decked out to get in. Depending on what content we are on however, it can be a major factor. We won't pass up an excellent player due to lack of gear as long as we know this person is an excellent player. This means knowing how to gem / enchant your gear, know your spec and have a few personal references. The main thing with us is that you're capable of getting all available gear to you; We don't hand it out, sorry.
People who cause drama will not be accepted into our guild. We try to keep our guild as drama-free as possible and we crack down on it whenever we see it. As an applicant, your best bet is to steer clear of it and not start your own otherwise you will not last long here.
Your first impression will be made with the app itself so be creative, show us what you're made of and put in as much effort into your app as you would in any raid you would expect to attend. We're always accepting exceptional applicants even if your class may be closed.
If you have any problems, you can PM Redasima on this site or send Redasima an in-game mail and I'll get back to you asap.
